No pls
I was thinking of rewatching both seasons of sidonia and didn't want to suffer through s1 poor frame rate
So started using svp
yeah well, okay for those kind of cheap stuff
and for cheap shounen and the likes
but SVP for a decent grade anime / movie / live action stuff is making it worse
funny thing is "SVP" is a really common acronym in french for a formal way of saying "please" (S'il vous plait)
there's a lot of 60fps youtube videos using svp and it shows a lot of jolt and blur on decently animated stuff
It doesn't work too well with traditionally animated stuff because that's already intended to look smooth
I think it helps more with situations where it's choppy
yeah I guess
but there's really no need for 60fps anyway
I would guess that you could double or triple the framerates with interpolation depending of the original content and reduce it afterward to 24fps
like runs it at 3 times speed and slow it down by 3 with interpolation or something to keep it smooth
I could interpolate to 24 and it would fix most of the issues, since it's the drops to 8 that are the problem
well the thing is that it's already 24fps
but with triple copy of the same frames
they can't really diffuse, sell etc, variable FPS or 8FPS shows on TV / DVD / BDiscs
True true

get shrekt, weebs
It is a really interesting concept actually
yup
did you get to the 2nd season already or not ?
Didn't think it would suck me in after a couple episodes
No I'm still in the first season
okay, the start of the 2nd season is a bit odd, like you don't really recognize anybody
but it's extremly good
I'm on episode 13 where they just finished the test
with the doors
oh right
I was reading on data so the pages loaded really slow :p
you're reading that on webtoons ?
Also, does the drawing get better or is it consistant
Yes Towelie I'm reading it on webtoons because I can't read korean lol
*yet*
yeah i was just wondering because some other translations messed up the names
