well it's basically what I said
it depends of your uses
i just dedicated a 60 gb flash drive to it
32GB is the max size of the cache though, so you may use a smaller pendrive as 60 something is like 2 times the max size 😃
my roomate is in it and brings home tons of usb sticks
so i just used one for it]
oh i dont care lol i have 8 million 2.0 usb's and a decent amount of 3.0's
as I said, it makes faster the access of small files, it's not really life changing especially if you already have an SSD
hrm
so what does it do exacly
just speed up procssing of the hardrive files
it cache small file lol
so your computer can access them "faster"
but an SSD is faster than a USB3.0
it may be fine for 5400rpm HDD on laptop
but I doubt you'd see any change
thats what i got
just a half way decent pc
also i used about 40-45% of my ram at the max,so you think i should upgrade to 16 gb?
dude, your laptop is fine enough without ready boost
nop, 16GB would be overkill for you
i used a lot less before i upgraded to win 10
like 20%
thats why i was wondering
yeah win10 tends to use a bit more ram but the ram is so cheap nowadays that it doesn't really matter
it's not really impact your performance
not when i have a bunch of shit open like explorer and discord and facebook and other crap it uses like 40-45%
it's the win10 caching system that makes it looks like that
never much more and im always monitering ram
so u think im good with 8 gb?
depends of your utilisations but if you say that you rarely goes above 45% of your ram
it doesn't worth the upgrade
glad my card decided to decline it for suspicious sctivity then lmao
was gonna spend 107&
107$
well, as I said, depends of what you do or plans to do with your PC
you know a good place to buy some cheap ram? 16 gb worth if i do decide to do it?
but in your case, I doubt you would benefit the upgrade
