It was written by a woman, so it's surpriseing how non-womanly it gets.

Character art style is kinda interesting. Everyone got that anime hair.

Also, gore and dead bodies get grody in it.

One of those animes where dead bodies are hyper detailed with maggots and stuff.

I wouldn't say there's no subplots, though. More like a lotta subplots.
