I fucked up and played before the day one patch. I got the patch last night and it's much better.

So in other words, I'm now on my third save.

filled to the brim with quests, still doing them post-game, just got a new game+ patch which i may check out soon

apparently there were issues with the Luminous Engine on PS4 and pressure from elsewhere to rewrite and cut things well into 2016 (part of why the delay happened)

Yeah, I read a leak (after I beat the game) that said the reasons for the delays weren't so much rewrites, it's cause the porting of the game from their special made PCs to PS4 and XBox One was a pain.
