the english VA was done by Brits tho

2017-01-19 19:55:29 UTC

it's actually really good

2017-01-19 19:55:56 UTC

there are no generic sounding voice actors

2017-01-19 19:56:20 UTC

unless you binge BBC daily or something

2017-01-19 19:57:55 UTC

That sounds pretty nice

2017-01-19 19:58:07 UTC

Freeshop has a nicer gui wtf

2017-01-19 19:58:22 UTC

it's made of eshop assets

2017-01-19 19:59:55 UTC

btw, I don't know if you can afford to delete anything, but stella glow is really good too. flawed but good nonetheless, redownloading it now

2017-01-19 20:00:17 UTC

I don't play anything on here

2017-01-19 20:00:24 UTC

How big is it?

2017-01-19 20:00:45 UTC

lemme check

2017-01-19 20:00:57 UTC

1.4GB

2017-01-19 20:01:08 UTC

Not bad

2017-01-19 20:01:13 UTC

but they also removed the Japanese VA from the english version

2017-01-19 20:01:32 UTC

some voices are reocurring since it was a north american dub

2017-01-19 20:02:02 UTC

the localization is very good but you might want to go with an undub

2017-01-19 20:02:52 UTC

the game has singing in it, so in the english version you can hear characters talking in english and then they suddenly start to sing in japanese with a very different sounding voice

2017-01-19 20:03:18 UTC

That sounds really stupid

2017-01-19 20:06:17 UTC

it would probably be stupider if they made the english VAs sing

2017-01-19 20:06:28 UTC

I think they were just trying to retain quality

2017-01-19 20:09:53 UTC

also, depending on whether or not you want to replay the game, you should start with a NG+ save (also up on the internet) since that adds more scenes to the ending

2017-01-19 20:10:23 UTC

or so I heard. I lost all my progress one stage before the final boss

2017-01-19 20:10:34 UTC

@Alibaba you cannot play game in a simple windows guest VM

2017-01-19 20:11:04 UTC

you would need a processor with direct I/O functionality like VT-d for intel

2017-01-19 20:11:53 UTC

it would require some configuration, and 2 graphic card (one dedicated for the host, and another one for the guest, intel graphics can work though)

2017-01-19 20:12:18 UTC

I do that on daily basis, my windows 10 is a guest right now 😉

2017-01-19 20:12:42 UTC

don't expect to do it with virtualbox gui though 😄

2017-01-19 20:13:19 UTC

you do that daily? what for?

2017-01-19 20:14:15 UTC

I love VM and I like the fact that I can make a snapshot and test things without having to bother about wrecking my system

2017-01-19 20:14:31 UTC

I mostly use it to run multiple OS at the same time tho

2017-01-19 20:14:41 UTC

for cross compilation

2017-01-19 20:15:07 UTC

but the VT-d allow me to play on windows 10

2017-01-19 20:16:45 UTC

i'm using a really lightweight gentoo as a host, and I load multiple VM at the same times

2017-01-19 20:17:06 UTC

if you need info about that, search for KVM VGA passthrough with VT-d

2017-01-19 20:17:40 UTC

or Xen, whatever you like

2017-01-19 20:19:34 UTC

oh, forgot to mention that, it's also really useful to tweak your drivers since you can access your PCI device directly too

2017-01-19 20:22:00 UTC

without direct I/O (VT-d or AMD I/O VT), you can only use software acceleration and the perfomances are pretty poor, whatever your hardware

2017-01-19 20:27:26 UTC

alright proffesseur, je ne suis pas comprehends

2017-01-19 20:27:28 UTC

too much info

2017-01-19 20:27:58 UTC

it's like teaching a 9 year old about quantum physics

2017-01-19 20:28:10 UTC

and I fucked up that french
