you can choose between medium settings or high settings for example if you want FPS or better textures / resolution / AA and the likes respectively
because some people don't care about the look and prefer FPS, other don't care about FPS and prefer the look
so you can choose
but that requires a patch
xbone scorpio will try to output 4K no matter if the game is officially supported or not
that makes it useless for people that don't own 4k displays imho
