Sad times
people should be free to voluntarily become slaves like in egypt or rome when they were in debt
Sure K
also should be involuntary slaves too
this isn't what you were talking about, you were talking about fighting specifically for the confederacy
when they owe herc big dollas
if slavery is antithetical to the free market, why fight for the confederacy?
@F-Star The union wanted to push their Federalist BS onto confederates
Because I liked the US the founding fsthers wanted as well
@F-Star you do know that you're arguing with a fat pedo that probably has asbergers right? no need to really think about what you say if it's directed towards him
nigger they seceeded when they couldn't make more slave states
thats a reductionist and biased version of the civil war
And plus slavery wouldve been abolished in the south in a few decades
lol no
the south would have never abolished slavery if given a choice
Yes, just based on how mechanization works
did i post something bad
the whole balanced state equilibrium broke, then they seceded because everyone knew it was inevitably going to be outlawed
counterfactuals are meaningless
The north did not need slaves because of a large population and heavy strides in agricultural mechanization. They also went into a more industrial market with factories. The south tried to use slaves in factories but having a bunch of uneducated people trying to run machinery didn't work well
who do this
Because of this, once the south tried to get into factories and stuff having an educated African populace to work them would be beneficial
if niggers dont work well in factories how would niggers be put in factories
Same reason why kids were forced out of factories and into schools
Because they were shit
tom why would you have fought for the confederacy
I haven't heard of this before
the south tried to transition slaves into factories? is this true?
@F-Star Founding father's wouldve dome the same
@a lone father k I heard it from somewhere but it was a failure
only some would have
they weren't a homogenous block of people
who thought the same
many of the founding fathers understood how unethical slavery was anyway
Don’t
they predicted it was eventually be phased out
same with Custer Lee
no
