2018-11-16 14:33:19 UTC

instead of a corsair

2018-11-16 14:33:22 UTC

because they're basically the same

2018-11-16 14:33:31 UTC

Free market at work

2018-11-16 14:33:31 UTC

@Tinker Tom EXACTLY

2018-11-16 14:33:36 UTC

contracts!

2018-11-16 14:33:42 UTC

contracts

2018-11-16 14:33:43 UTC

NIGGER WHAT IS YOUR POINT

2018-11-16 14:33:43 UTC

contracts protect your IP

2018-11-16 14:33:44 UTC

all of neweggs rosewell or whatevre brand is "knockoffs"

2018-11-16 14:33:45 UTC

YEAH

2018-11-16 14:33:52 UTC

CONTRACTS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF A FREE MARKET

2018-11-16 14:34:00 UTC

YOU'D UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT ECONOMICS

2018-11-16 14:34:04 UTC

thank you for understanding tom

2018-11-16 14:34:24 UTC

now you know why a mutual contract between many companies that protects IP would be beneficial

2018-11-16 14:34:25 UTC

Ooga booga

"Where the white women at" - Kirk

2018-11-16 14:34:49 UTC

because it would stop manufacturers (who would need to sign the agreement to do any business with these companies) from just mass producing a knockoff the moment they receive the specs

2018-11-16 14:35:40 UTC

@Double Negative Yeah, but you don't fucking own the idea. You can make efforts to keep that idea a secret, but if AMD got ahold of Intel's shitty CPU designs from reverse engineering, and then for some reason used a part of it, Intel couldn't do anything

2018-11-16 14:36:09 UTC

"the idea"
a fully fledged specification sheet for a CPU isnt an "idea"

2018-11-16 14:36:15 UTC

Ok

2018-11-16 14:36:16 UTC

Design

2018-11-16 14:36:20 UTC

Doesn't matter

2018-11-16 14:36:25 UTC

>if AMD got ahold of Intel's shitty CPU designs from reverse engineering, and then for some reason used a part of it,
i'm pretty sure that's illegal

2018-11-16 14:36:26 UTC

Call it whatever

2018-11-16 14:36:32 UTC

Israel has a lot of influence at Intel

2018-11-16 14:36:38 UTC

@Double Negative It's only illegal in a state regulated economy, I'm saying in a free market

2018-11-16 14:36:54 UTC

I really doubt they'd let AMD jew them

2018-11-16 14:37:01 UTC

in a self regulated economy there would be some form of copyright protection that would be almost mandatory to opt into

2018-11-16 14:37:07 UTC

because nobody wants their unique products being copied

2018-11-16 14:37:11 UTC

That would suck for Intel

2018-11-16 14:37:28 UTC
2018-11-16 14:37:30 UTC

Perhaps, but it wouldn't be legally enforced

2018-11-16 14:37:32 UTC

unrelated but remember that AMD GPUs are bad

2018-11-16 14:37:50 UTC

@Tinker Tom there wouldnt really be much law in ancapistan other than the NAP

2018-11-16 14:38:03 UTC

.yt Walmart Fresno

2018-11-16 14:38:05 UTC

it would be enforced by the violating company being fined to shit

2018-11-16 14:38:06 UTC

You might be barred from certain shops if you don't agree to follow the copyright, but if you are able to produce an AMD or Intel CPU for cheap

2018-11-16 14:38:07 UTC

because they broke the contract
