I've got to swap cans around on that pistol so I can run it in a holster. The osprey micro has 0 holster options unfortunately

2020-05-04 13:22:50 UTC

that's not necessarily true

2020-05-04 13:23:13 UTC

And I'm going to order some of these so I'll stop stuffing mags in the top of my dump pouch lol

2020-05-04 13:23:34 UTC

sort of irrelevant but this would work if you ran a surefire weaponlight

2020-05-04 13:24:10 UTC

Tandemkross makes a tube supressor friendly holster but that brick shape makes holster options very slim. I've thought about ordering a kydex kit and trying to make my own

2020-05-04 13:24:15 UTC

I would recommend esstac kywis for new magazine pouches

2020-05-04 13:27:13 UTC

I need to run some AR reload drills off the belt pouches. All my other AR mags are on the PC. They are tight as hell. And need to be broken in

2020-05-04 13:27:24 UTC

I've looked at some of those inserts to help get them out easier

2020-05-04 13:27:58 UTC

It really helps

2020-05-04 13:28:32 UTC

I know trex arms also makes suppressor ready holsters

2020-05-04 13:29:09 UTC

I would recommend ditching the mesh rollup thing on your belt

2020-05-04 13:43:05 UTC

It's a roll up dump pouch. When running rifle/pistol transitions or if I'm reloading partial mags or if I'm going to run multiple drills before I go reload mags I toss the spent mags in it instead of fighting them back in the carriers. My army buddy informs me they all hide snacks in theirs lol

If im not using it i just leave it rolled up out of the way. It has a sleeve in it just like the IFAK panel so I can carry two without adding anything extra on the belt

2020-05-04 13:49:52 UTC

Well, I say that, but as I said, new setup. Thats the plan anyway lol. I'm going to run it some more and move shit around. I may end up moving all that shit around after using it more. Lol

@Bard
that pistol does have an under rail. I could add a light 🤔

2020-05-04 14:11:53 UTC

https://tripleaughtdesign.com/shop/rddp2-pouch/ @DarthRichta check this out for a great dump pouch that really is out of the way when you aren't using it

2020-05-04 14:12:38 UTC

The cool thing about that holster is that if you buy the compatible light you can throw it on just about every pistol with a rail and it will work with the holster

2020-05-04 14:13:05 UTC

it's not quite as slick as a safariland als system but it has some advantages

2020-05-04 14:14:05 UTC

Oh, that really is super compact too

2020-05-04 14:15:21 UTC

i use the one that is half the size of that (the rddp1) and it is of absolute high quality

2020-05-04 14:16:46 UTC

That's this one unrolled. It feels good quality in the hand but because of the ifak sleeve I dont think It will fold up any smaller unfortunately

2020-05-04 14:17:34 UTC

yeah I'm sure it works reliably I would just suggest if you're using a dump pouch to get something that goes really small and out of the way when not using it

2020-05-04 14:17:50 UTC

can be a real pain in the ass if you're crawling around with it as you might imagine

2020-05-04 14:18:01 UTC

same goes for plate carriers

2020-05-04 14:18:15 UTC

I see a lot of people stacking WAY too much shit on the front of their carriers

2020-05-04 14:27:26 UTC

I was guilty of that at first. All I have is a single triple mag carrier on the front now after trying to shoot prone off of a telephone pole lol

2020-05-04 14:29:52 UTC

You've got a good head on your shoulders, I find one of the best ways to get used to gear is to literally wear it all the time in the house as much as possible

2020-05-04 14:30:17 UTC

Adds weight to your day too for extra calorie loss

2020-05-04 15:49:58 UTC

I have been walking/jogging the property line in kit as much as I can. Last weeks monsoon rains slowed me down a bit. I've been back on the get my ass back in shape train since 1st of the year. Down 50 lbs so far. Keep adding weight back to the PC as I loose weight. Still got a few more to go to get back where I want to be

2020-05-04 17:58:28 UTC

> I see a lot of people stacking WAY too much shit on the front of their carriers
@Bard why Im moving shit onto a battle belt that and in case I have to ditch plates

2020-05-04 18:05:09 UTC

I notoriously pack my vest with way too much stuff. I just like being flexible for a wide vareity of situations. In all honesty the flaregun is probably the least likely to get used for most things and I could strip it. same with most of the stuff in the little 24hr pack I attached to it

2020-05-04 18:15:51 UTC

So I called up the gun store that I had ordered from over a month ago
Turns out they had most of my stuff but two shell types were discontinued so it never got shipped

Why they didn't think to call me or check back on me I'll never know but I'm getting my stuff sent and reimbursed for what they don't have so
Good stuff

2020-05-04 18:16:19 UTC

That's gay

2020-05-04 18:21:27 UTC

mad ghey

2020-05-04 18:21:31 UTC

Not really worried about it but just mad that they didn't bother calling or sending an email

2020-05-04 18:21:59 UTC

That why I like ready Gunner here in Utah. Their staff is awesome about things like that

2020-05-04 18:22:35 UTC

They have a really nice range too
