You want plates if youre trying to stop multiple high velocity or high energy projectiles like a few shots from an AK/AR or a shot from a .300WM
They need to start renaming these things bullet resistant. Just like how they will call suppressors "silencers". I used to have to wear a undercover sort of concealable vest that was uncomfortable as shit. Only cool thing was it had chain mail in it to keep me from getting shanked.
