I only knew it was turbo'd because of the blow off valve noise

2017-08-14 08:21:54 UTC

Should I get a supra?

2017-08-14 10:40:53 UTC

they're pretty good cars alex

2017-08-14 10:40:56 UTC

go for it

2017-08-14 11:28:51 UTC

I'd say 4th gens are overpriced

2017-08-14 11:30:44 UTC

A Lexus SC300/Toyota Soarer would be a much cheaper project car, unless you really love the look of the supra

2017-08-14 19:07:37 UTC

I don't know too much about lexus

2017-08-14 19:27:05 UTC

A Lexus SC300 is a re-badged Toyota Soarer. It came with the non-turbo 3L I6 2JZ-GE supra engine, or alternatively a 4.0 L V8 1UZ-FE in SC400 form. I'm not sure about differences in the block, head, etc. And it probably has smaller brakes, softer suspension, but some of the supra stock units, or upgrades will swap over.

hmmm I'm gonna have to give this the look in

2017-08-14 19:54:54 UTC

Just a suggestion, because I know a 4th gen supra in decent condition is pretty expensive

2017-08-14 23:57:46 UTC

pretty cool ^^^

2017-08-15 03:29:29 UTC

I want a fox body but their so damn expensive

2017-08-15 03:29:58 UTC

So I might go find this Lexus or just go with the supra

Well you need to evaluate whether you actually want (or are able) to do significant work on the car, and the total amount you want to spend. The supra will be decently quick, and reliable stock, if you can find one. It is will also be pretty expensive for a 20+ year old Toyota.
The Lexus SC400 with the V8 will be similar, but doesn't have the Supra cache or look to attract fanboys or people who want to race(good and bad), and everything will be softer/more luxury
The SC300 will be cheaper still, and with less performance, but has the 2JZ block similar to the Supra. This would be the maximum amount of work/least money option

I once drifted a Ford Transit in the snow without traction control

2017-08-15 05:58:52 UTC

2017-08-15 06:00:37 UTC

Is the Dodge Magnum a cool car?

2017-08-15 06:01:32 UTC

It is generally considered ugly

2017-08-15 06:01:43 UTC

I kinda like it though

2017-08-15 06:02:28 UTC

The R/T v8 with awd is what I would choose probably

2017-08-15 06:03:52 UTC

For me it looks like a 2006 charger hatchback

2017-08-15 06:04:11 UTC

same platform as the charger, the 300, and the older mercedes e-class

2017-08-15 06:04:46 UTC

same engines, probably a lot of parts shared

2017-08-15 06:07:01 UTC

a big car with a NA V6 is never going to be cool

2017-08-15 06:15:26 UTC

I wonder if anyone has done a 300C front clip onto a Magnum in North America

2017-08-15 06:17:45 UTC

Is this it?
