My dad had his name thrown into a girl's head who got roughed up at a party back in the early 70's, it's entirely possible the same happened to Kavanaugh
My dad wasn't even at the party, someone told her it was him the next morning.
Their schools played a basketball game against each other a couple of weeks later, he goes over to their stands, asked for her name, and she noticed. Then he asked her if she recognized him, knew his name, anything. She said no. Then he asked why she was going around saying he tried to assault her.
After a brief pause realizing she was now the asshole, she tried to backtrack saying he was awful from the stands and all.
Eventually some other dude confessed to people in their high school it was actually him and the whole thing died down
But still, if it can happen to my father, it can happen to Kavanaugh

I'll never forget when I was in Europe, turn on BBC-world, it's some idiot from the BBC in my neighborhood going on and on about muslims are terrified of leaving their own homes, this was years after 9/11.
