even the trees are being irradiated
but instead growing like forests
na, they never received the serious doses of radiation that would be in the atmosphere after a nuclear war
and there would be no cleanup
like in Chernobyl
they basically built a massive facility around the site just to contain the radiation that is still there
because the radiation is still developing
but contained within multiple meters of concrete
if it was uncontained, it would ravage the wildlife there
and if the soil wasn't dug up
nonsense
the soil was dug up to protect groundwater
beside the fallout universe take place many years after the nuclear war
almost 200 years
most of the radiation would have been dispersed out everywhere from earth
Fukushima is also slowly poisoning the pacific to this day
yeah like humans are slowly poisoning the pacific as well
that's from just a few days ago also
fukushima contaminating the pacific ocean isn't the main issue
it's when the contaminated water begins to seep into the groundwater
yeah because having radioactive oceans isn't what's problematic
and besides
you're comparing apples and oranges
nuclear reactor =/= nuclear weapons
a nuclear reactor can be weaponized much much greater than a mere nuclear missile
otherwise you would see the same issue with hiroshima and nagaski
those were very primitive
small yield as well
That's not true at all, in fact it would pretty damn difficult to take a nuclear reactor and turn it into a weapon that would detonate
well you're not gonna turn a reactor into a missile obviously
That's not what I am saying
then what are you saying
the radioactive components of the missiles still stay around for a long time and leak radiation into the area in the same way a reactor does
There's multiple security procedures to ensure that people on nuclear facilities aren't just randoms out of nowhere
Yeah having a degree in Nuclear engineering generally
but then again
im only using chernobyl's nuclear reactor that creates a positive feedback loop as a reference
instead of the west's "safer procedure negative feedback loop"
so you're right
