George W Bush passed the Patriot Act, a violation of the 4th amendment, and Democrats did nothing to stop him

I really feel like both parties are collaborating to drive America deeper into authoritarianism

Bush did government spying, then Obama expanded it even more

yeah but theres things preventing one person from getting to much power thats what the senate is for

yeah its near impossible

The Senate goes along with authoritarian policies

Mitch McConnell would literally vote for any authoritarian law the president can put out next

And with him most establishment politicians would go along with him
