**demsoc**
believing in democracy doesn't make you not want public ownership of the means of production
"At the root of our socialism is a profound commitment to democracy, as means and end. As we are unlikely to see an immediate end to capitalism tomorrow, DSA fights for reforms today that will weaken the power of corporations and increase the power of working people." -dsa website
you obvi havent looked into what democratic socialism is
bruh
"weaken the power of corporations and increase the power of working people"
is NOT
capitalism
I don't think demsocs aren't socialists
that's the point I just literally made
.
you can be pro capitalism but anti corporatism
I'm saying *Bernie* isn't actually a socialist, or a demsoc or whatever
oh
I don’t see sanders having a chance in hell of beating trump
.
well-
you're saying he's not demsoc?
Not really
he's basically just a capitalist who wants it to be regulated more radically than others
Do u guys think Bernie will be the nominee though that’s my prediction
He will
Bloomberg isn’t winning
I think Bernie has the only path to nomination right now
bidens not even doing well with the democrats lol
Biden can barely speak
hes not gonna beat trump
only old people like biden smh
As a person I like Bernie
It’s either Bernie wins or brokered convention
He’s truly for the people
^
The only thing I will give Bernie credit on is that he has been consistent with his policies for the last 40 years so I agree with any of them hell no
well
everyone has an opinion ig
At least Bernie has maintained a relatively stable track record
but being genuine =/= being right
I don’t see his policies resonating with blue collar workers middle class farmers construction workers the Midwest women older Americans the people you need to win over to win an election I don’t see his positions resonating with the minority community African Americans latinos hispanics I don’t see it working with them either
didnt trump switch partys less than a decade ago
