@Ann Hiro .458 socom was the largest I've personally heard go 'hollywood' quiet. I've seen videos of .510 whisper going stupid quiet.

Hey guys. I live in a country where its inconvenient to get a firearm. So I'm looking at pellet/airguns and/or crossbows and slingshots. But I know almost nothing on pelletguns. I have a site here where I would buy my first airrigle/pellet gun but everything just seems the same to me... if anybody can check the catalog out and maybe recognize some model that he knows is a good product that would be awesome. (personal opinions based on experience/preference welcome).

I can't see buying a firearm being difficult in Peru... unless things have changed that much since I was there. Actual literal children were buying porn, cigarettes, and beer from street vendors and smoking/drinking in public. There were gunfights in the street at LEAST once a week for the 3 months I was there.

On a side note, I effin' miss salchipapas and lomo saltado like you wouldn't believe.

Gamo, benjamin, umarex, some crossmans are good. Go for a airgun with a piston breakbarrel, piston last much longer than a metal spring

CZ's rimfire rifles take a standard 3/8 dovetail and/or weaver bases. The medium and large bore rifles have a proprietary 19mm dovetail that only fits wacko bases.

differences are pressure rating. Dimensionally .308 and 7.62NATO are identical, but .308 winchester is much higher chamber pressure.
