I got pretty lucky
I forgot when I decided to buy a mask but it came with the filter
you never used it?
i mean
if you use it once
it should be good
I think I got it so I could fuck with it
except if you have a broken filter
that moved everywhere

Here is my great grandfather still he used to make moonshine with. My grandpa, keeps on telling me how cool it was to drink his dad's spirts without going blind.
So there's this box of a bunch of mylar bags of coffee grounds at my workplace... you think they might sell these at Costco/Sam's Club or something? Might make a decent barter item
Probably
My boss buys the coffee from Costco and Sams
Just want to point out that if anyone can grow weed or tobacco, DO IT. There will be little else (besides food, booze, ammo) that will be as universally tradeable.
I was wondering how long can you save dried and grinded weed? probably almost indefinetly unless you got it somehow dampy right
and does it lose quality after some time
Pretty much. depends on the weed, some weed gets better with a bit of age, but I think in general you have to store it for a really long time(years) before it starts losing potency. If you can, don't grind it before storing it, helps it to keep it's smell and that little bit of core moisture.
You can't beat the smell of when it's freshly grinded/cut up
If you're concerned about space being taken up you can do a vacuum seal
With vacuum seal you also don't have to worry about loss of moisture, mold, or bacteria (assuming you sterilize it first)
if you're overly concerned about moisture then buying a pack food grade silica gel packets doesn't hurt too much

Anyone have experience making mead? I started some in November but i think i added the yeast too soon after i dissolved the honey and killed them. I tossed some more yeast in there about a month and a half ago, and didn't get the bubbling typical of fermenting, but it definitely has alcohol in it, based on taste and smell
Giving a glass a try tonight, I've pasteurized and filtered it, and doesn't taste or smell toxic, but still a bit concerned about methanol, since this is my first time homebrewing and i want to get good at that, booze would surely be a valuable resource when SHTF
never made mead before but the way my dad used to deal with methanol was by pitching a bit off the top of distilled alcohol and by tapping the bottom
it was fun to set on fire
