if you want to minimize moving parts id suggest a plexi glass frame hung above the plants and just having a pi control the water valve

2020-02-09 21:09:18 UTC

youd have to clean it often tho

2020-02-09 21:09:33 UTC

but thatd take like 5 minutes depending on size

2020-02-09 21:09:43 UTC

or just use a UV light

2020-02-09 21:10:07 UTC

Maybe put it in some kind of heat keeping thing?

2020-02-09 21:10:11 UTC

So it grows faster

2020-02-09 21:11:05 UTC

the heat will keep it alive but i dont think it'd grow faster??

2020-02-09 21:15:40 UTC

my city doesnt get below 15° so it is alright

2020-02-09 21:15:54 UTC

15C?

2020-02-09 21:15:59 UTC

prolly start with potatoes cause potatoes are native plants here

2020-02-09 21:16:01 UTC

celsius

2020-02-09 21:16:09 UTC

im peruvian heh

2020-02-09 21:16:31 UTC

potatoes are extremely good to grow

2020-02-09 21:16:42 UTC

yes they are indeed

2020-02-09 21:16:50 UTC

they wont die even if you try

2020-02-09 21:17:33 UTC

lots of carbs too, not empty carbs

2020-02-09 21:17:36 UTC

about the UV part... can i grow them indoors? that would be great if so

2020-02-09 21:18:33 UTC

im not sure if you even need that much light for potatoes

2020-02-09 21:18:50 UTC

you could probably just put it near a window

2020-02-09 21:19:38 UTC

interesting

2020-02-09 21:19:46 UTC

Will research more, thx

2020-02-09 21:19:55 UTC

yes yes of course

2020-02-09 21:20:34 UTC

Make sure to use multiple potato species

2020-02-09 21:20:57 UTC

Having just one can be dangerous if blight strikes it

2020-02-09 21:29:22 UTC

@brotha you seem to know a thing or two
Would you recommend any VPNs in particular?

2020-02-09 21:29:57 UTC

riseup VPN and Windscribe if you want to do anything more intensive than web browsing

2020-02-09 21:30:03 UTC

I'm a turbo-wagie though so something that costs less than $30/month or so is preferable
