for me

the word "can" questions if something is able to do something

its like if you were about to pay for food and the cashier asks

"are you sure you can pay that"

so should i ask "Is forensic anthropology utilized scientifically to determine if a mass grave is the site of a human rights violation?"

I'd say more like

That's a similar argument but carries a lot different weight

and the cashier asks "are you sure I can ingest your meaty urethrastick"

and you say yes

"How" or "Why" it's able to

It's a yes or no question unfortunately

"can so so work in this applied area, of course it does" but

this is a 200-level forensic science course so i'm not terribly concerned with converting people, but i'd like to make a strong argument at least

is the point of the assignment to find how its applied or just a way to show you know what forensic anthropology is

it's kind of busy work but i'm gonna need to present on it shortly, which is more of like... dirty jobs I guess? everyone chose a topic and some people do serial killers and shit

i could just present some ethical concerns and call it a day

professor had no qualms about the question

serial killers wouldve been an easy paper

only thing the professor said was "make sure not to list too many or you'll drown yourself in work"

if your professor isnt tough then i imagine you can let an eh question slip by

yeah, i suppose. he gave me As on the other parts so he's not exactly a hardass when i try

no ones going to mind it after you throw over examples and connections to real life events

so i guess i can focus on the ethical, religious, and political concerns of actually exhuming the bodies
