Good point

2019-01-09 00:42:03 UTC

Thank you

2019-01-09 00:42:04 UTC

We are his creation and yes he is our father which means creator but he’s not our real father in the commandment it said honor thy father and mother he can’t be saying god and something else right

2019-01-09 00:42:23 UTC

Him or something else

2019-01-09 00:43:11 UTC

Well obviously it was referring to your mortal father, but that doesn’t mean they can’t also refer to God as father, as well. They simply didn’t need to specify which father, given the obvious context that you yourself even pointed out.

2019-01-09 00:44:04 UTC

It could just be they didn’t feel the need to specify which father they were referring to, given the fact they used it beside “and mother”, suggesting one’s mortal parents.

2019-01-09 00:45:32 UTC

And yes we are his kids weird way to say that but god wanted a son of his own you know someone to stand right by his side

2019-01-09 00:46:33 UTC

The Holy Trinity

2019-01-09 00:47:07 UTC

There are things in this world we still don’t know about god

2019-01-09 00:47:40 UTC

I’ve even not read the Bible yet I heard the key events in it

2019-01-09 00:48:58 UTC

But it’s ok to read it once even if your a different religion like just study on it and compare it to your own religion

2019-01-09 00:49:12 UTC

Personally, I don’t believe in a God, but I respect religious people and their beliefs – as long as they do not disrespect an innocent group of people, of course, because unfortunately, people sometimes use religion as an excuse for hate and bigotry. The Bible should bring people together, not give them an excuse to tear themselves apart. Thankfully, though, most religious people I have encountered are nothing like that at all.

2019-01-09 00:50:14 UTC

My father makes me attend church, and I must admit that I find Christianity quite fascinating. While I do not believe in it, myself, I agree with a lot of their morals and ideas.

2019-01-09 00:50:25 UTC

well I like the Bible for it's conservative values

2019-01-09 00:51:06 UTC

In my religion orthodox we love everyone even if they have different views and we shall leave them be as we say it

2019-01-09 00:51:46 UTC

Well I’m glad.

2019-01-09 00:56:03 UTC

@patriot don’t turn the Bible into a political thing for fuck sake

2019-01-09 01:14:46 UTC

@Deleted User You are in a political server in a channel for religion and philosophy. There will be people here who will have political discussions about the Bible. That is unavoidable. If it upsets you, I suggest you avoid the channel.

2019-01-09 01:16:35 UTC

Hell I won’t avoid I will say what is right

2019-01-09 01:25:24 UTC

Bible had a lot of political implications in the history

2019-01-09 01:25:47 UTC

Because y’all made it political

2019-01-09 01:25:56 UTC

This is a political server.

2019-01-09 01:25:59 UTC

What did you expect?

2019-01-09 01:26:20 UTC

‘POLITICS’ is literally in the name of the server.

2019-01-09 01:26:37 UTC

If you don’t like it, well, fine. But that’s your problem. 🤷‍♀️

2019-01-09 01:27:06 UTC

We have not violated any rules.

2019-01-09 01:28:44 UTC

I only said to not make the Bible political it should be without politics like conservative and liberalism beliefs should be not mentioned to the Bible it’s just dumb

2019-01-09 01:29:26 UTC

That is your belief, but frankly, I am not breaking any rules. I am sorry if it upsets you, but if I want to ‘make the Bible political’, than I have a right to do so.

2019-01-09 01:30:00 UTC

@patriot Good point

2019-01-09 01:31:26 UTC

But don’t you think the Bible should be left without politics and be clean be as it should be

2019-01-09 01:31:32 UTC

No, I don’t.

2019-01-09 01:31:57 UTC

Nor do I believe the Bible is clean.

2019-01-09 01:32:21 UTC

2019-01-09 01:38:23 UTC

2019-01-09 01:44:10 UTC

@Deleted User This is a political server.

2019-01-09 01:45:44 UTC

The Bible discusses many violent topics such as murder and rape and warfare, and I see in no way shape or form is that clean.

2019-01-09 02:18:32 UTC

Political server, political people, Conservative values within the Bible

2019-01-09 03:34:02 UTC

2019-01-09 03:35:14 UTC

@Deleted User Well of course ot, because it doesn't help your argument. :)

2019-01-09 03:35:47 UTC

But your personal religious views are beside the point

2019-01-09 03:36:43 UTC
