@OtabianKnight the reason why women were stone back in the day was because there was no welfare state and the family took care of the women so when a woman cheat it dishonors the whole family and it hurts the woman family because no one wanted anything to do with them also no man wants to be with a woman who wasn't a virgin. men back then had morals and believe in purity and men could have more then 1 wife and still maintain a family it never works the other way around. Also men were fighting a lot in those days too and anything that threatens their family they would get rid of them. But now since we got big daddy government women run wild :/
