that study took their evidence from a multitude of different sources though. here's one: http://www.worldvaluessurvey.org/WVSDocumentationWV4.jsp this shows that societies with different majority religions do have distincitve and different values, but within the same society, the difference between the different religions are proven to be relatively much smaller.
i provided that source as you can read through the sampling and methodology yourself if you don't believe it.
