Generally the people that believe that aren't really aware of what religion is supposed to be as opposed to what mainstream religion is.

I used to be a militant atheist. I'm still non-denominational.

Religion is supposed to be a generational pursuit of truth and it tends to be written in a way that's difficult to decipher due to sheer age and how people conceptualized.
