I would say people in general (not just women) would have more filling lives if they raised a family. I'm not saying that to have a happy life you must raise a family but it's not uncommon to see a bitter person in their 50s or 60s regret not having a family, they find themselves bitter and alone because all of the material goods and sex and drugs dry up at that age
