Is the pink tax real? (i wont say anything ill just let you debate)
no
most of the studies were flawed
I said i woud not say anything but i agree
The pink tax is real
but irrelevant
The real pink tax is basically
you got two skincare product
one for men one for women
exact same product
differently priced
which isn't a problem
just buy the men's version if ur cheap
What the media tries to portray in pink tax
is that everything considered feminine cost more than everything considered masculine
which is still bullshit
since if gender was a social construct
just buy whatever is cheaper
simple laws of supply and demand
a guy wont pay that much for skin care
market the same product to two different genders
higher demand for women so they are willing to pay more
I think it's more
when they make the batch of skincare
they put the (not desirable) batch like the edge and the bottom part of the batch into the men's skincare
but women get the best part of the batch since their skin is more sensitive i suppose
it's a win-win for the company
they get to brand to men and not have women bitching about your product is not working
oh hmmm. i dont believe that the batch affects the ultimate price of the product tho
I believe you that it happens
but I cant see a company charging a different price for it
unless they just use that as justification
I still believe that to be supply and demand
no that's basically the ultimate price of the product
you could be selling it for $20
but instead you sell it as $18 (for men)
since the batch in the men isn't as good as the women
oh interesting
what company is thi
