Yes all civilizations throughout time were based around areas with Water
Correct.
Water is the lifeways of all things. Civilization included.
My tribe used rivers as our highways,
It's why we had no roads and few trails.
Rivers were far more efficient since we didn't have beasts of burden.
Plus with rivers we could access the trading cities.
Using the Mississippi to reach cities like Cahokia for example.
So you are a left-wing
Eh,
I don't like using the terms left or right.
I prefer to identify by my actual stances since they don't all fit into one category or the other.
Okay lay em out
In our culture there's a saying, left and right are two wings to the same brain dead bird.
Well, I support LGBT stuff obviously, believe in traditional values though for us that's different than for you,
Most of my values are based on our traditions actually.
Which is to say matriarchy, clan governance, respect for LGBT, avoid wars for reasons other than defense, take care of our elderly, young and disabled, collectivized resources to a degree, etc.
The American group I align most with is progressives.
But even then it isn't a perfect match.
Because for example, I do not support democacy as it has failed our tribe.
Oh yeah
You natives have a matriarch
I forgot
Not all but a lot of us.
My tribe specifically had a Grandmothers Council.
Made up of the female elders.
They chose our chiefs.
Do you know what Alt Right is
That doesn't make much sense
How so?
And kinda.
I know what they appear on the outside,
you have a respect for Traditions, yet the you mostly allign with progressives
But I do not know what Alt-Right is to the Alt-Right.
Because what Americans consider progressive we consider tradition.
@Chemar Different traditions
Right
So you're definitely a left winger lol
We always respected our LGBT, women were not only respected but given huge sociopolitical positions, we took care of all members with housing, good and medicine, and the likes.
So what you consider progressive,
