2019-12-15 08:07:29 UTC

2019-12-15 08:08:12 UTC

2019-12-15 08:08:33 UTC

I know see him pop up in my notifications all the time. He doesnt care about anyone besides himself. Thats noticeable only having had a few arguments with him.. If he was truly intelligent hed know how to argue a point without personal attacks being his only go to..

2019-12-15 08:08:57 UTC

2019-12-15 08:09:07 UTC

2019-12-15 08:40:44 UTC

Can only imagine how antisocial and angry they are in real life lmao. To each their own I suppose. Hope youre doing well!

2019-12-15 08:52:44 UTC

@qwasi systematic change is far more effective and longer lasting than an individual's charity.

2019-12-15 10:05:24 UTC

What was this.

2019-12-15 10:05:28 UTC

Not even real economics

2019-12-15 10:05:34 UTC

Just boomer talk

2019-12-15 10:06:41 UTC

Imagine not being able to refute marxism. @qwasi @Dick'em_DOWN_Dan

2019-12-15 12:33:31 UTC

Why exactly did you @ me?

2019-12-15 12:34:23 UTC
2019-12-15 13:57:29 UTC

Imagine thinking social programs and capitalism can't exist in the same country

2019-12-15 13:59:47 UTC

We been doing it for like 100 years. I think it will be okay dude. No one is gonna take social security and food stamps away and we are going to continue to run this country as a corporation. Get over it. We are not embracing socialism and we are not deconstructing capitalism

2019-12-15 14:27:31 UTC

And yet we had so many market crashes which happen every few years, unemployment, starvation, death from diseases, oppression and exploitation of foreign nations for their resources and etc...
Go ahead and tell that to the many that are suffering when there is no logical need for them to do so. I'm sure you can convince those people that everything is fine and they have no reason to feel worried or upset. But it might be interesting to see where you would stand when in the next economic crash you might very likely be one if those who loses everything but from what I'm getting from you, you will more than likely join the Ultranationalist camps

2019-12-15 14:28:04 UTC

the crashes are inherent to the best parts of capitalism, socialism is needed for the externalities and to keep people from falling into destitution

2019-12-15 14:28:37 UTC

the wealth production requires creative destruction, so crashes and oscillations are endogenous, but necessary to get the positive results

2019-12-15 14:28:55 UTC

Marx understood this, capital I, ch 1 and 25, then Minsky formalized it

2019-12-15 14:29:36 UTC

Schumpeter, now Steve Keen leads that work

2019-12-15 14:29:40 UTC

It's why a few hours ago we are not at the material condition for a Socialist revolution

2019-12-15 14:30:13 UTC

Hopefully things never get that bad, but due to the inability of people to admit mistakes, it might be necessary

2019-12-15 14:30:43 UTC

Thing will get bad for absolute certain

2019-12-15 14:30:48 UTC

the banks(creditors in general) are eating up workers' share of gross income, which is predicted if you use an engineering style model of the economy

2019-12-15 14:31:16 UTC

they might, there is some left populism gaining steam though

2019-12-15 14:32:01 UTC

Leftism is getting steam but now we are still trying to solve the ideological differences between us

2019-12-15 14:32:32 UTC

idealogy is a lost cause, pragmatic socalists should just learn about the macroeconomic effects of wealth inequality, it's non-trivial

2019-12-15 14:32:53 UTC

as workers share of gross income falls, velocity drops to shit and eventually the coupons can't get paid

2019-12-15 14:33:08 UTC

Oh no it's not really the macroeconomics that we argue about

2019-12-15 14:33:22 UTC

It's about how we would establish Socialism

2019-12-15 14:33:25 UTC

Who starved?

2019-12-15 14:33:33 UTC

Someone legit starved

2019-12-15 14:33:44 UTC

Or are you sensationalizing
