yeah, it's not really addressing the actual concept of universal healthcare
but it's not like anyone is going to change their minds anyway
Because if "nobody is perfect", then it would be silly for me to say that his way of speaking and the faces he makes at the camera are cringey
Because he's better looking than I am, my face probably sucks lol
But yeah, his actual "arguments" aren't the part that is cringe
It's typical right-wing rhetoric
I just mean the presentation is kinda gross
He's got that sort of puncheable "bro" face
his schtick is comedy / sarcasm
Yeah, he's not the worst
I don't think it's rhetoric because it's all true
Well, addressing pretty much the only video of his that I watched - the one where he goes to Canada and tries out the healthcare and shows how "bad" it is
Tons of people have a totally different experience
So he is one guy
And he bases his entire video
Over his one experience lol
To show how bad the Canadian system is
And honestly, I am VERY suspicious that they did one of several things -
(or combination)
Intentionally went to like the lowest reviewed, busiest fucking place
Wore and said shit to piss off the people working there
Etc
I saw it but it was a long time ago
But his argument that Canadians wait for 4 hours every time they go to see the doctor, and they are super rude to them the whole time
It's poop
To be fair
It's an OLD video of his
He was all fresh-faced
yeah it was very early in his "career"
His new content (and perhaps more importantly, new face) seems a lot less "cringey"
But I didn't really take a close look
he is kind of annoying sometimes ngl
but I agree with him about many things
I find Colbert and Trevor Noah annoying sometimes
To pick some of the commentators I watch semi-frequently
The most left wing ones I can think of
Intentionally lol
Well I mean
MSNBC is even more left
But I don't really like any of the pundits much
