I don’t think the police should arrest people for thought crimes, that’s just ridiculous
فاكيو
as far as
Inciting violence that’s a no no
ط
But guess what, still got banned from Twitter
because his "thoughts" were "highly concerning"
Ok, so a few things
Actions should be taken to arrest someone based on action, not thought
1. The court ruled in his favor
So his is an example of the system working
Thoughts can be fleeting
He still got banned from Twitter =X
The police acted unjustly, and the court corrected it
X_X
Yup
Hey no need for flaming, dude
2. Freedom of speech is different in the UK and US
When police couldn't win, Twitter just acted anyway
3. Twitter is a US company
So?
I read about that case too @Sophie
Twitter is not the police, they have he right to do anything they want
But you guys just said it's their house so they can make up the rules
And tbh
So the country doesn't matter
Twitter defies it violates its terms of service
Twitter is a private platform
Lol what?
Twitter isn’t a public entity
They can do whatever they want
It's not as though the police consistently makes good use of its resources lol
Like right now, the free speech we have on discord
But also to be clear, that was British police
Post ANY of that on facebook, twitter or YouTube and you're done for
Not bound by the US constitution
Discord has terms of service too
Here’s a really good example
You can’t post any Nazi stuff
