We really need to reopen the economy. Maintain social distancing and precautions, as well as masks, but we're going down a dangerous road here. Especially if there is a conflict with China brewing, we cannot just remain stagnant.
money printer go bbrrrrr
@Cobra Commander Did you know that the coronavirus has been circulating since December? Did you also know that there are a lot of people who already have antibodies for it and they didn’t notice a thing? Not only are we going down a dangerous road, but we are going down a dangerous very unnecessary road.
@Cobra Commander Did you also know that nearly all of the people hospitalized because of “coronavirus” had other underlying conditions?
Like I mentioned in the Trump channel, the study you're referring to is very shotty. There is no way for us to know how many are truly infected and dead, especially considering how stats are being covered up in countries like China and Iran
Your own source says "almost all *NYC* cases have underlying health conditions", which does not mean that most of them didn't die from coronavirus.
Ok, I’m with you on that.
All that means is that cases with underlying health issues and diseases are more at risk of death.
Also the coronavirus's first known cases came around in China in early December, I wouldn't be surprised if we had a few undiagnosed cases in the U.S. as early as mid to late December.
Since the CCP did fuck all to contain the spread of the virus apart from destroying evidence of it and downplaying it until mid January.
Yeah, I get it, but studies seem to be showing the coronavirus isn’t as big of a deal as what we are making it out to be. Also, states like Michigan are taking it too far.
It is a big deal though, this is a virus much deadlier and much more infectious than the flu that's entirely new, with no immunity to it.
That being said, yes Michigan is going too far.
It's also absolutely true that the economy needs to be reopened despite the virus, precautions need to be enforced in workplaces though. This can help counteract or at least lessen the new cases that would spring up from this.
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s “**much** deadlier and **much** more infectious then the flu.”
Except that it is. It's R0 value has been put at being as high as almost 7 and the amount of severe cases and deaths relative to the case totals are much more than that of even bad flu seasons, even if the numbers relative to entire populations still turn out to be relatively small.
Well, you have to factor in what condition the people who died from coronavirus had. Also, the research is very spotty and the statistics are spotty too. I’ve been playing with some of the COVID-19 stats and they are very messy.
Sorry, I added one word that will make that post make a lot more sense
Right, but we know pretty much for certain that it is worse than the flu. This is the only solid claim I've been making apart from the large amounts of data missing from China and Iran, who are already known to have been hit hard. We know that the amount of real cases are going to be much higher than the confirmed, the problem is that we also don't know the real death toll. This is why I would be incredibly hesitant to make the claim that the coronavirus is either "just" a flu or even less dangerous than it, because there's even less suggesting this than there is for the opposite; if that's true then the world would not be nearly as badly affected like it is now, even when taking into account it's increased infection rates and lack of immunity as well as the overreactions.
Well I have also claimed that the research is spotty, but that's because it is.
Yep, those are all facts
Hmm
Its crazzy...
How all of this make this..
How to do this...Patient 0....Cant be found...
Yea think...CHina Did all of this...because of the Trade war issue with Merica?
Tinfoil theory.
Idk about the trade war specifically, but the CCP probably let the virus spread intentionally in order to maximize the impact on the rest of the world and to provide an opening for China to become stronger than the US. They've silenced and censored whistle-blowers and information on the pandemic, and implemented harsh lock-downs as well as a stigmatization of foreigners by claiming *they* spread the virus to them (and damn near causing segregation), while feigning offense at the US and other countries simply calling the coronavirus "the Chinese virus" and blaming the CCP for it. The CCP has also perpetuated a propaganda campaign where they blame the US government for creating the virus, which is likely an attempt to sow discord among the US's allies and to either cause them to distance themselves from the US or to disassociate entirely... leaving more openings for China to gain connections and power. We know they've been both corrupting the WHO and feeding them basically just propaganda, which the latter has been regurgitating with no push-back, as well as trying to gain more power within the UN as a whole.
@Cobra Commander you really spent the entire time writhing that
Yes? The CCP is like, very clearly acting maliciously.
Trump#1
Fortunately many countries are calling them on their bullshit.
Omg, someone in a political server wrote a paragraph expressing his political views!
Can’t believe it
Ikr
Ye
if we split all the money and resources up evenly between people then we shouldnt have a problem with the economy
Economy wouldn’t be stable. No motivation to do anything and no reason to do anything.
