I mean we're everywhere. No one escapes the reach of the Gøøns

2020-04-08 14:40:28 UTC

second mud test on the aug, total failure

2020-04-08 14:40:34 UTC

so sad, I love the aug too

2020-04-08 14:41:39 UTC

Looks like the ejection port got filled with sticky mud, causing the FTE

2020-04-08 14:41:53 UTC

seems about right

2020-04-08 14:42:12 UTC

The charging handle slot getting filled is unacceptable though

2020-04-08 14:43:22 UTC

Highly unlikely to actually happen, but hopefully this causes Steyr to do an update. They've not touched anything on the AUG for years, outsourcing any updates to third parties

2020-04-08 14:43:36 UTC

dude I know right

2020-04-08 14:43:54 UTC

the a3 has remained essentially unchanged for the better part of a decade

2020-04-08 14:44:01 UTC

Yup.

2020-04-08 14:44:19 UTC

only corvus defensive has made any sort of "rail system" for one

2020-04-08 14:44:59 UTC

i would absolutely love to see Steyr update the aug, that would make my wallet tremble

2020-04-08 14:45:00 UTC

Dude, the Corvis rails look like hot trash, hanging inches off the gun. I wouldn't trust them

2020-04-08 14:45:06 UTC

i agree

2020-04-08 14:45:13 UTC

they need an OEM update

2020-04-08 14:49:23 UTC

I don't think it would be TOO goddamn difficult to make a cover for the charging handle slot that slides with the charging handle

2020-04-08 14:49:50 UTC

The FAL has one. The M240 has one. The Imbel IA2 has one.

2020-04-08 14:51:01 UTC

Lots of guns do it, and easily, and yet lots of guns DON'T do it, or do it differently (like the goofy spring loaded thing on the Galil Ace) and I can't figure out why

2020-04-08 14:52:34 UTC

the aug also has it's charging handle channel positioned "upward" rather than vertical, which is naturally conducive to the ingress of debris

2020-04-08 14:52:52 UTC

Also true

2020-04-08 14:54:06 UTC

I remember there was this white hunger games peacekeeper spec A3 at my LGS years ago that sat around for like an entire year, I was seriously considering just going in there and offering 1400 for me to take it off their hands

2020-04-08 15:07:23 UTC

Rattle can the whit away. The polymer stock separates from everything easy enough, it's probably one of the easiest guns to do that too

2020-04-08 21:57:18 UTC

does anyone here own a Gen1 M&P?

2020-04-09 00:10:40 UTC

I used to, and my ol lady has a Shield 9

2020-04-09 00:10:46 UTC

Gen1

2020-04-09 00:12:16 UTC

No handguns (((SAD WNY STATE NOISES))) I absolutely hate it here and wot do anything to be able to leave but being disabled on a fixed income is difficult

2020-04-09 00:12:59 UTC

Had a few shotguns but sold them in favor of being able to have medical insurance

2020-04-09 00:23:19 UTC

Gonna take this fucker out

2020-04-09 00:33:59 UTC

Nice rig. How's that sling work for ya?

2020-04-09 00:38:10 UTC

It's an old belt so about as good as can be expected

2020-04-09 00:50:06 UTC

I think it adds character. I like it better than the mass produced slings that anyone can get from runnings or wherever.

2020-04-09 00:50:29 UTC

Lol yeah man do what works

2020-04-09 00:51:46 UTC

What gun is that?

2020-04-09 00:51:55 UTC

I saw a Glock dipped with minions it makes it your own ya know?

2020-04-09 00:52:46 UTC

2020-04-09 00:53:14 UTC
