Hobbservations on Roads2Liberty. We're at think-liberty.com and also pretty much every podcast app

2020-04-15 20:10:57 UTC

No shit. Cool man, I’ll check that out.

2020-04-15 20:11:48 UTC

He did one with most of the Pwave admins awhile back
Everyone except me, swamp donkey, n Jaeger

2020-04-15 20:12:19 UTC

Yeah, that was right after the rally in Richmond, right? I think I heard that one

2020-04-15 20:12:40 UTC

Inthinknhe did it like 2 weeks ago

2020-04-15 20:13:17 UTC

I know I was on US Army WTF radio a bit ago, and then me n squid have episodes on Deadbeat Radio

2020-04-15 20:17:30 UTC

whats the difference between hoplite's swimmer plates and sapi plates?

2020-04-15 20:18:35 UTC

Swimmers are a more aggressive cut, they're a little smaller but allow a wider range of motion, ie swimming

SAPI is the standard cut that you'd see out n about

2020-04-15 20:25:03 UTC

idk if ill be swimming alot

2020-04-15 20:26:31 UTC

I mean you do you, I use SAPIs, but I've also never used swimmers. Im a bigger guy, so I like as much coveage area as reasonably possible

2020-04-15 20:31:36 UTC

Swimmer cut polyethylene plates: make sense.
Swimmer cut ceramics/steel: wtf. You'll be dumping your carrier as soon as you get into water deep enough for swimming

2020-04-15 23:00:32 UTC

any other good places to get body armor?

2020-04-15 23:00:46 UTC

still looking at hoplite

2020-04-16 13:22:22 UTC

RMA makes great NIJ certified plates 135 per plate on there 1151 model and I think there side plates are like 150 for both .

2020-04-16 13:23:52 UTC

If your on a tight budget the battle steel LVL4 ceramics at 100$ a plate do there job from all the videos I’ve seen. But there not NIJ certified

2020-04-16 15:23:13 UTC

Im not on a very tight budget

2020-04-16 17:57:14 UTC

then I would say RMA is nice and NIJ certified. I only have the 1151s but there high end models that use multiple small ceramic tiles instead of one monolithic tile to prevent spider web cracks is bad ass

I actually have never looked into hoplite if they have NIJ certified plates or not however I know there pro boog and the owner is running for Montana’s governor

2020-04-16 23:27:02 UTC

RMA has nice III+ plates that are significantly lighter than the IVs. Supposedly they are in the process of becoming nij certified for those plates.

2020-04-18 21:35:12 UTC

@Ramrod1992 are those rucks still for sale?

2020-04-18 21:36:10 UTC

Yes

2020-04-18 23:22:54 UTC

Odds are probably slim but TNVC is giving away a nice PVS14

Anyone have experience with the M&M Industries M10x? Im looking at getting an AK hybrid that leans more towards AK than AR, around $1300

2020-04-24 23:35:10 UTC

I don't have personal experience but I have seen reviews of them, basically they aren't really as good as either one in pure form

2020-04-24 23:35:33 UTC

Once upon a time I wanted an AR/AK hybrid and almost bought an ARAK-21

2020-04-24 23:36:10 UTC

But then I saw that sand and mud and shit just absolutely shuts them down and they weren't that accurate so I looked elsewhere

2020-04-24 23:43:27 UTC

@Bard i would love to grab a standard ak although i would like to mount an optic on it. From what ive seen, mounting an optic isnt as simple as an ar. I have also not been a huge fan of most ak triggers as well.

2020-04-25 00:18:13 UTC

RS regulate mount or ultimak rail, either option works very well

2020-04-25 01:38:20 UTC

RS Master Race, or Zenitco

2020-04-25 19:38:42 UTC

RS regulate is the best out there. Not cheap but is excellent

2020-04-25 19:39:00 UTC

@THEDOUG01 m10x is a POS lol dont get it

2020-04-25 19:39:40 UTC

They were advertised as a DMR and shoot like 5moa. Avoid especially at the cost. They marketed them up in canada as a legal ak that had good accuracy but is outshot by Sks's

2020-04-27 06:12:35 UTC

I'm a simple man

2020-04-27 06:12:44 UTC

I just want a Halo ship combat game

2020-04-27 06:48:02 UTC

Homeworld : Reach

2020-04-27 06:48:20 UTC

real talk ; I'm sure you can find mods for Homeworld Remastered

2020-04-27 06:49:05 UTC

Ever since I read Fall of Reach I just wanted to see a full scale space combat game Halo style

2020-05-01 20:30:30 UTC

Also Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion has a Halo mod. However it's a 4X game (think bigg rts) and standard sized game can take days/weeks

2020-05-01 23:22:33 UTC

@a panguin AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO THAT!

2020-05-01 23:30:07 UTC

Lmao I wish I did, and have a whole ass whiteboard covered war room to plan it all out

2020-05-02 11:18:01 UTC

SoSE is still by far one of my favorite games. Used to plan out my games during my classes, since they really did take days or weeks to do lol. Even the smallest scenarios could take a full day
