not even worth it
our infrastructure sucks because local politicians fleece the ever fuckin living shit out of projects
oh you want to build a fiber network through my city/town, you're gonna pay
the one main reason Trump slammed steel tariffs and all that was to get US steel refineries going again when we start working on infrastructure
so we're not at the mercy of the chinks or canadians
and there's enough supply
same with aluminum tariffs, genius move, he foresaw that'll happen if we do work on infrastructure in the US again, the chinks would be the first to double triple the price and cause a shortage
oh ya for sure , its absolutely retarded how china has US at the balls for resources , in many aspects
so fucking dumb to let that happen
the other thing is companies will charge the state and federal government much more than what the projects cost, and they pay that most of the time , thats where the cost saving is bullshit in a way
which is why i always say , its not that we need more taxes , but better spending of them and way better budgets
they don't have us by the balls lol
their lives depend on us, we don't really depend on them with our lives
our politicians don't care either, cheap whores, can be bought off by the chinks for very low prices
you'd laugh at how little money some of these people in politics accept, problem is it costs the country as a whole astronomical amounts, they sell us out for cheap
what i mean is that , we use them for sooo much , a LOT of product , and resources , by the balls because we dont have the Production infastructure built here , because so much has been moved over there, and no one has even tried to seperate that reliance away from them not bush or obama trump only a tiny bit , think of how we were doing Post WW2 and whatnot
yea
we should have diversified
i think china has realized that and is trying to keep it that way buying off all kinds of property and companies and people , that way they can possible try to economically retaliate if we tried, but we HAVE to try either way and sooner than later
they'll never do that, their main tactic is selling below wholesale still, they still give loans to factories and forgive them, so they're more like grants in a sense.
in a way ya
and they hold about 2tril in US dollar holdings they cannot get rid of ever or they'll self-destruct
well always read * that china is playing all kinds of games and strings, and we arent doing shit to them afaik
I think previous admins made it seem like china was calling the shots, when they weren't, have the illusion present that we're too dependent on them, nothing can be done, so they and their friends could still profit with no questions asked
Trump is trying to get the trade deficit down with them
the dumbest things the chinks did was call his bluff with exports, like soy beans, they tried buying them elsewhere, but they cost a lot more, but trump cut a deal to sell soy beans to the EU and the EU decided to use them for biodiesel and other things in their push for going more green
its crazy when you break it down what it all points to
as a side note, fuck how much we farm in US , that shit can be cut down
our politicians painted a picture of nothing can be done, like obama saying under 2% or 2% gdp growth or less is here to stay for a longtime in our future, and all those jobs aren't coming back
they lost their shit when trump rattled trade with china and tariffs
oh ya bullshit on the jobs not coming back lol
they were literally saying he's going to throw us in a depression recession, the fed monkeys were raising rates like lunatics too at the same time
they (china) lose at the same time though if they did that right
now the fed said no inflation worries, no rate increases for 2019 all is well, after trump and crew threatened the fed with an audit
lol
its sick
they've been playing the general public in the US for a long time now
thats why we need a "iron fist" president , trump is barely that
