It's also a borderline frontier state, basically stay away from Bozeman and Missoula, know that the Middle of nowhere boomers are really paranoid, and as far as the cold it only gets to -40°F at it's absolute worst and usually 7ft of snow at least once

I recommend Kalispell, best part of the state IMO, after living there for 15 years
