It'd still be the last best place still had Missoula not been flooding nogs into Bozeman and Missoula and Californians buying tons of land they never use. Otherwise it's beautiful and guns are plentiful and easy to obtain

It's also a borderline frontier state, basically stay away from Bozeman and Missoula, know that the Middle of nowhere boomers are really paranoid, and as far as the cold it only gets to -40°F at it's absolute worst and usually 7ft of snow at least once

I recommend Kalispell, best part of the state IMO, after living there for 15 years
