acc, you just don't need a gun for defence

Guns are a direct cause of shootings

Pretty linear relationship, cut guns and less people are shot

better to have a gun and not need it than not have a gun and need it

well a gun is going to be better than a knife defensive wise

but if we get rid of guns then your going to want get rid of knives too

then hammers and screwdrivers and pretty much anything that is considered a "weapon"

then our freedom of speech becuase even that could be a "weapon"

pretty much no one wants to completely get rid of guns

also knives, hammers and screwdrivers arent primarily intended for killing or harming people
