I remember hating her music but also never liking it because it was and is utter shit. That being that, I read an NPR interview with her that was really positive and she talked about how she wanted lyrics that stood apart from hip hops degrading topics. I liked that and then downloaded the album she was talking about and it didn't challenge my mind, in fact it made me despise her music even more.
