Wouldn't mind having a taurus defender with those .410 shot shells it can take.

2020-02-26 22:56:41 UTC

Food is what's really important. First thing to happen if shit gets bad is quarantine to our homes, so make sure you can last.

2020-02-26 22:57:07 UTC

I'd have at least a months supply of food for each person in the house.

2020-02-26 22:57:08 UTC

Sadly my sig sauer p229 is still in CT

2020-02-26 22:57:12 UTC

I should probably tell my family this stuff. If they aren't aware already.

2020-02-26 22:57:36 UTC

FYI the WHO told all social media sites to squash talk about corona. It's bad and we're already in pandemic mode.

2020-02-26 22:57:54 UTC

We have some food but not well prepared any good resources like a prepping for dummies (and not looking like one)?

2020-02-26 22:58:26 UTC

Try some of those 1 month kits on amazon like I did. Bit of a warning though, some have a 2 month wait on them right now and selling out fast.

2020-02-26 22:58:37 UTC

They're a bit expensive though, so be prepared to spend.

2020-02-26 22:59:15 UTC

God. I can't afford that kind of stuff.

2020-02-26 22:59:23 UTC

I'm looking for more than just food. Like we aren't really prepared for anything.

2020-02-26 22:59:29 UTC

Same

2020-02-26 22:59:35 UTC

Was gonna buy a ps4 with that money for FF7 remake, but health and life is more important, lol.

2020-02-26 22:59:42 UTC

Canned food is your best bet

2020-02-26 22:59:48 UTC

instant noodles

2020-02-26 22:59:51 UTC

Lots of rice

2020-02-26 22:59:56 UTC

Frozen vegatables

2020-02-26 23:00:03 UTC

frozen pizza

2020-02-26 23:00:07 UTC

frozen lots of things

2020-02-26 23:00:10 UTC

Yeah

2020-02-26 23:00:19 UTC

I'd freeze some ground beef too.

2020-02-26 23:00:22 UTC

But rn. I am not in a good financial status

2020-02-26 23:00:25 UTC

Like 10 pounds

2020-02-26 23:00:45 UTC

Canned food best bet then

2020-02-26 23:00:54 UTC

I'll look into it

2020-02-26 23:01:10 UTC

it's cheap and can give you the calories you need, along with some vitamins. Also get a couple bottles of vitamins as well..

2020-02-26 23:01:15 UTC

Being a dependent sucks. At least I have smart parents.

2020-02-26 23:01:23 UTC

Oh

2020-02-26 23:01:24 UTC

Big one

2020-02-26 23:01:27 UTC

Before I got

2020-02-26 23:01:28 UTC

go

2020-02-26 23:01:55 UTC

Pull some money out of bank, big chunk like 2k if you can and keep it home. Shit gets real bad there wont be bank runs cause they'll close the banks before they run out of money.

2020-02-26 23:02:25 UTC

Physical cash will be the first and last thing most will take.

2020-02-26 23:02:36 UTC

Ahh piss gtg now, onward to home.

2020-02-26 23:02:42 UTC

laters and good luck all.

2020-02-26 23:02:49 UTC

You too

2020-02-26 23:29:36 UTC

Food should be at least some nonperishable btw.

2020-02-26 23:36:24 UTC

A lot of it depending on if it will last years at a time

2020-02-27 00:52:10 UTC

@bobdole776 I hope you're not recommending perishable frozen foods for survival situations. If power goes, so does the frozen food. Okay for short term, but focus on non perishable.

2020-02-27 02:46:36 UTC

canned and dried
