hey guys, wondering if yall can explain some stuff for me
my main issue with bernie is that i think his policies will hurt the economy
my friend, who is a hardcore bernie fan, argues that the economy will be fine
because his policies help workers, which will create more wealth
ah that's right. thanks sometimes i need help thinking things through
also, is there anywhere i can find a rebuttal to the democrat argument that less unemployment doesnt mean people are doing better
whenever i read it on the frontpage of reddit it sounds like bullshit
makes sense. honestly, i registered to vote the first time this coming election because i'm scared
i really hope to find out that the majority of people are not the people on reddit
but im in california so hoping other states pull their weight
yeah, its probably mostly my fault since i browse reddit the most out of most social media haha
bernie fans are so rabid it makes you forget about the normal people
dang read the new reddit policy thing
gonna miss upvoting everything on t_d
i guess reddit's plugging up all the leaks in the echo chamber
i think outright deletion is the last resort; they're trying to choke it out
part of why t_d is successful is the good stuff gets voted to the top, so people visiting will always see the interesting news/funny memes and the low quality stuff will sink to the bottom
if you remove upvote power, the subreddit's front page will lower in quality and less people will check regularly
in addition to giving the impression of less engagement from the community
maybe they'll remove the ability to upvote comments next
canned and dried
how many times do people have to be shown that the internet isn't real life
2016 election, mueller report, brexit, impeachment
2020 election
if the disease originated in any other country besides china, they would be mocked and reviled just as much as wuhan is right now
with the exception of the USA since we live here, so we can assume that US citizens wouldn't have the same reaction
don't worry, it would have been called the 'german flu' if it started in berlin
or the 'canadian flu' if it originated in montreal
