I would be happy with that
@Chris1122 Also, there's a debate as to whether Global Warming is legitimately something that would be a net loss or net gain for us
Is it real? Sure.
Is it something to really worry about?
For whom
I don't think so
For everyone
As the world gets warmer, there's more water circulation
that combined with greater CO2 would allow for more vegetation throughout the world
Places like the Sahara actually stand a great chance of no longer being a desert
That’s a pretty fair point and I’m rather surprised that I’ve never heard it
Never thought about the actual benefits of a warmer earth
Plus, generally the world warms disproportionately the further away from the equator you get
Sahara will see very marginal warming but significant moisture and CO2 increase
At least in theory, which let's be honest, we're all operating sorta blind here
including alarmists
Especially alarmists
I care for the world. I want clean seas and lovely forests, but look who dumping all there shit into the sea, and eating every animal under the sun
China?
@DrZaius That's because there's no money in saying things will probably be fine
And clean air is great. Have you been to a very busy city. Air is shit
@Pytokonda 🐏 Sure, but you're just talking about conservationism
that's not climate alarmism
I genuinely believe in the reed seej david attenborough meme i posted
That is very real and very observable
I'm just drunk ranting talking

I think there’s also the ability to campaign on the issue. I can make people vote for me if I say I’ll fix the climate
And we directly benefit from conservationism and cutting down on polution
Taken me 5 mins to spell forest
It also requires relatively little adjustment compared to *reversing all of global warming*
But if I actually do something about the climate, there goes my platform. So if someone campaigns on climate they’ll never actually fix it
I know one way you guys can care about the climate crisis
@Chris1122 And what's that?
Well I don’t think it’s a crisis
*crisis*
Also
>crisis
It’s just another ordinary problem
