i think she THOUGHT that the whole eu would work together and distribute the burden but then got told to sod off and didnt know what to do

she thought that "if we just lead by example, and accept migrants, all the other countries will follow suit"

seems something changed in her...from what i saw over the years

I dont think merkel ever intended for germany to have a million refugees

they STILL are their own countries
