its like here, BUT they are bound by being "germany"
No there has to be federal law. The sanctuary cities are a prime example of why.
of course there have to be
but not EVERYTHING has to be
i was watching this bbc show about a dystopian future and angela merkel dies and this politican on live tv says 'good riddance the world just got a whole lot nicer'
No its perfect how it is
ITs a mix of both
I dont think merkel WANTED to fuck up germany
which is what the forefathers planned on
tbh..at the start?
she wasnt bad at all...
i think she THOUGHT that the whole eu would work together and distribute the burden but then got told to sod off and didnt know what to do
something changed in her around like..10 years ago or something
O.o
?
anybody else notice that?
I haven't paid enough attention to germany to really konw
she thought that "if we just lead by example, and accept migrants, all the other countries will follow suit"
seems something changed in her...from what i saw over the years
I dont think merkel ever intended for germany to have a million refugees
O.o
?
at least from what i saw
she THOUGHT that if she took some in europe would work together to distrbute the load, but that never happened
no, because even though they are EU
they STILL are their own countries
and can decide whatever they want
Yeah
they legally can
yap
but merkel CALCULATED
the EU is just their for regulations in trading and working together
"theyll just help us"
its not a big law thing
and she was off
she THOUGHT so, but nop
so now germany has a ton, while others are rejecting them
I THINK germans have leanred their lesson
they are slowly learning i believe
bc after the greeks told the migrants on the border to fuck off
