2020-03-18 12:44:35 UTC

2020-03-18 12:59:55 UTC

i see

2020-03-18 13:00:12 UTC

They always been left. Having people saying save the planet and all that shit. Then leave tents/rubbish everywhere when it's finish

2020-03-18 13:00:51 UTC

at least its' sustainable waste

2020-03-18 13:01:25 UTC

that doesnt damage the environment if you leave it there (how longs it gonna be lying there a day?) and provides jobs for the cleaners

2020-03-18 13:01:26 UTC

Save the planet

2020-03-18 13:02:16 UTC

I've cleaned some festivals before. And it would take a lot longer than a week to do there

2020-03-18 13:02:45 UTC

its not single use plastics so there's no permanent damage

2020-03-18 13:02:59 UTC

Hi I'm new here, (Discord + Trump Discord). Nice to be here among you guys.

2020-03-18 13:03:11 UTC

Plus they damage the land with all the rain and mud. Polly making it unusedable for a year

2020-03-18 13:03:15 UTC

IDK if the courtesy is to introduce yourself but in any case.

2020-03-18 13:03:40 UTC

@DiDozen you think it's just plastic?

2020-03-18 13:03:40 UTC

do you expect them to be farming crops in that park?

2020-03-18 13:03:45 UTC

Oh, hey. New to the discord myself. Howdy.

2020-03-18 13:03:56 UTC

i said its not single use plastics, so anything outside of "single use plastics" applies

2020-03-18 13:04:48 UTC

Metal, fabric, glass. Alot of people smash bottles and set fire to tents after as well

2020-03-18 13:04:59 UTC

oh yeah a lot of people do that do they?

2020-03-18 13:05:25 UTC

@DiDozen I expected them to leave the land as it was before hand. Like ofter festivals in uk.

2020-03-18 13:05:47 UTC

this isnt unusual for any festival

2020-03-18 13:06:03 UTC

the daily mail likes to own the lefties and report the same thing every year, though

2020-03-18 13:06:17 UTC

I've cleaned up bloodstock 3 times. I Polly do it again next year.

2020-03-18 13:06:33 UTC

So I think I know what I'm on about

2020-03-18 13:07:44 UTC

I've even cleaned up rebellion a punk festival twice. And they don't do that shit

2020-03-18 13:08:04 UTC

youve cleaned a festival five times so you're now an expert on how much waste **every** festival leaves. i love confirmation bias

2020-03-18 13:09:14 UTC

@DiDozen I'm a cleaning manager

2020-03-18 13:09:45 UTC

For one of the biggest British cleaning companys. So yes

2020-03-18 13:10:01 UTC

funny how your role seems to escalate. cleaned some, then cleaned five, then somehow a manager for a cleaning company

2020-03-18 13:10:29 UTC

whats next the CEO of amazon's cleaning

2020-03-18 13:10:53 UTC

if its true you should know very well that every festival leaves trash

2020-03-18 13:10:58 UTC

Please tell me more about my work

2020-03-18 13:12:01 UTC

Well rebellion is a indoor. That's why I didn't say right away

2020-03-18 13:14:15 UTC

id say that glastonbury is far better for the environment than the average festival solely for the reason they dont use single-use plastics

2020-03-18 13:20:33 UTC

Doubt. But throwing rubbish everywhere does not make up for it being not single-use. There are bins everywhere at festivals. I don't throw my rubbish in the street cos they not single use

2020-03-18 13:37:09 UTC
