It’s bc apparently Florida has a curfew that if your 16 or younger you can’t be out passed 11 w/out a guardian. That and the corona lockdown on top of my other charges which were all dropped it not filed

I got charged with possession of a concealed knife. It was dropped bc the blade was under 4 inches. I’ve been detained for suspicion of escape and evasion of law enforcement (which I didn’t do). My friends were with me and they said we were walking and talking even tho I told them not to say anything except we will go back inside if there is a problem with us being out.

that's not what police like to hear. i've dealt with police a few times when i was younger (low risk situations like that), and i just said "okay, i'm sorry." (officer talks here) "okay, we will right now"

they think you're arguing if you say "if there's a problem with us being out"

basically, my tactic was not talking to police officers. you sound like you talk to them a LOT

So they said they had to take us to the station (standard protocol) after they said that and then there I told them my name and dob then they called my parents and told them i have 2 choices. Be detained indefinitely or be put on house arrest. Also I do talk to them a lot and I only tell the ones I don’t know to fuck off.
