CQC, i normally keep a loaded .22lr rifle around. but with the way things are atm, i keep a loaded AR-15 with RDS, flash light, and 3x flip-up magnifier around until everything has blown over

i'm assuming that if i'll have CQC, it'll be during a home invasion at night. i've got night vision coming for turkey hunting (i.e. finding turkey roosts in my very limited time). so, i'll also be saying cool phrases like "Bravo 6: Going Dark" and smiling like Jim from The Office behind a window as i wait for them to break in my door

no, i can't hunt turkey at night, but i'm not a great caller, and if i can't find the roosts in the little light left at sunset, i can stay during the night and walk around until i find them

i thought so too, but everything i read about people who use them a lot is that it's easier to "get lost" in your spatial awareness, and it gives headaches easier since both eyes are seeing different things

and with binos, i can just raise one side if i want to do mono stuff for a bit

the research is just kind of difficult for NVG. i think it's because not a lot of people in the general public know a lot about it

i'll look around those too. the warning i've read is that with nods (especially the "government-only" stuff) is that you could end up with expensive counterfeits or people that didn't take care of them
