That’s true @King.

2020-04-05 17:28:42 UTC

Unless you make an sbr

2020-04-05 17:28:53 UTC

Or an AR pistol

2020-04-05 17:28:57 UTC

one good reason to stay in IL for now is lower long-term capital gains taxes. and i do a lot of investing so it's a decent benefit

2020-04-05 17:29:20 UTC

Hell even a .22 pistol can do

2020-04-05 17:30:06 UTC

@EliteBeret that's a good idea. i'm way too lazy / cheap to want to replace all my interior doors though

2020-04-05 17:30:33 UTC

Well we can’t blame you

2020-04-05 17:30:42 UTC

It was a pain in the ass but worth is

2020-04-05 17:30:45 UTC

It

2020-04-05 17:30:54 UTC

I only plan on ever owning one on a G22, so if I need a mf dead I have something almost silent for it

@King. ya. i'm just find with standard velocity .22lr for inside-the-house. and even for ultimate boog'ing, i don't think anyone will hear a .22lr outside 100m in the woods. hell, it might be less distance than that, because they're just not that loud

2020-04-05 17:31:46 UTC

My mind is still set on HP 9mms or .45 in a small carbine like a SIG MPX, a couple we’ll placed shots eliminate your threat and pose little risk to the family

2020-04-05 17:31:52 UTC

Fr I’ve had an accidental discharge in my apartment and it barely made my ears ring

2020-04-05 17:32:37 UTC

Wtf

2020-04-05 17:32:44 UTC

but yeah john if you want a quiet yet mainstream gun .22lr is the way to go

2020-04-05 17:32:44 UTC

All my external doors are solid. But some of them have glass then screens built in then glass. This makes it hard/ loud af to try to get in that way and the popo cant throw flashys through there.

2020-04-05 17:34:12 UTC

are there other windows in that room?

2020-04-05 17:34:27 UTC

Too bad the MPX is roughly 1500 MSRP

2020-04-05 17:34:51 UTC

*Cries in poor*

2020-04-05 17:35:09 UTC

Yes. I have then locked and secured with a piece that f wood. I have a curtain then flags that hang down so it’s double layered making it hard to get in or throw something in

2020-04-05 17:35:40 UTC

@King. regarding the MPX, i do want to get one of those someday. garand thumb made me hard when he talked about it recently. i just wish it came in .40 also

2020-04-05 17:35:55 UTC

imagine taking that thing, folding it, and putting it in your bag

2020-04-05 17:35:57 UTC

why would you want anything in .40 though

2020-04-05 17:36:16 UTC

i like .40. more energy than 9mm

2020-04-05 17:36:23 UTC

Just get plexi glass on all your windows

2020-04-05 17:36:27 UTC

EZ

2020-04-05 17:36:27 UTC

incorrect

2020-04-05 17:36:29 UTC

(i'm not saying 9mm isn't enough. it's just my preference)

2020-04-05 17:36:34 UTC

9mm has more KE

2020-04-05 17:36:45 UTC

i would want an mpx in 10mm doe

2020-04-05 17:37:01 UTC

@Vin_Farren it was hard enough to convince my parents to change the doors.

2020-04-05 17:37:09 UTC

huh? basllistics charts i've seen have the .40 clearly having more KE

2020-04-05 17:37:17 UTC

Thatll go through your wall vlad

2020-04-05 17:37:41 UTC

And it was a joke, Plexi glass would make your house like a fucking furnace

2020-04-05 17:37:56 UTC

that'd be nice in the winter tho

2020-04-05 17:38:12 UTC

Well. It already is. I live in Florida.

2020-04-05 17:38:58 UTC

Not to mention they scrape super easily

2020-04-05 17:39:22 UTC

Yeah.

2020-04-05 17:39:49 UTC

when that happens, i guess the only solution is to make youtube vids from inside your home, shooting at them. people would love it
