How much was the cost for ya?
i bought it during the clinton scare. too much
Lol rip
imma change the upper on it someday
10/10 wouldn't buy again, just b/c i think PSA does the job
tldr don't buy either
saints have a multitude of problems, think i've covered them in this server before
and diamondback is like generally on the do not buy list
What is your recommendation then
better than radical or ati because they actually shoot most of the time, but still do not buy
what's your budget?
Any
Or I shouldn't say any, 1200
That seems fair
for $1200 i would probably build
colt socom barrel, aero/colt/fn really any quality upper, aero lower, psa parts kit (made by shmidt, who oems parts kits for bcm, kac, colt, and others) geiselle or DD rail, lantac gas tube, geiselle low pro gas block, lmt ebcg
should be under $1200 and very reliable
Bet
literally everything in that build is the best on the market except trigger
and with receivers, you can go as gucci or as poverty as needed for your budget
basically that build list, except i haven't bothered to buy a better rail yet cause this one i snagged from a friends psa works fine
i think DB quality is just fine from my use and what i've read. but i wouldn't say they're recognized like even PSA is
Diamond back is epic
Got my first AR-15 mounted
Ik it’s a crap company but oh well. It was my first AR that I got last year
I’m gonna build an AR here soon
That’s dope
I'm building mine when I return to the states
i don't think i can recognize a single part on that AR but the receiver milling is kind of cool
Ten round magazine restriction?
man i cannot wait until thoroughbred gets block ii and cqbr uppers in stock
block ii is just peak rifle aesthetic
i cannot get behind short barrels on 5.56. but... your uppers look super sexy
unfortunately not mine
and the short barrel is a 10.5, which is like bare minimum for 556 imo but still pretty usable
yeah. i think the minimum, for myself, would be like 11.5 or 12.5
so i got some gen 1 BNVG in the mail today. i won't be able to buy good stuff for a few weeks, and i need something cheap that i can use right now for hunting. immediately i understood why IR lasers are best with NVG, even if your optics support NV light levels
yeah, especially with gen 1 stuff, without a full moon, you're pretty much going to be forced to use IR all the time
yeah. but gen 1 was really cheap, and it looks okay for basic hunting crap, as long as you know the land you're going to be hiking, which i do
