i did some googling and learned that it's because pistols with fixed barrels are blowback designs, and it limits their pressures

i can totes knock deer down better with my scoped shotgun than my iron sights, even though i've knocked down a deer at 100+m using irons on my 12ga

this is why you don't waste money on "just as good" gear and buy quality gear from the get go
