it sounds like what you’ve put into your bag thus far is short term survival stuff. that’s great for a small pack, but there’s a couple things i’d add to your list that aren’t bad to procure.

1.) trash bag

Yes do tell

trash bags can be emergency sleeping bags, emergency water bottles, they can keep your gear and more importantly your food and water away from animals and they’re cheap and easy to find

2.) basic firestarter (not just lighter fluid) and a trustworthy lighter

Doggie bags are good to for the same shit but smaller scale

I have doggy bags

basic kindling can come from hoarding dryer lint. stuff burns light and easy and it’s not all that valuable anyway

kvltvre final thing i’ll say for the bag that you probably already know is twofold. get an old boy scout handbook, and get extra underwear and socks
