i did some minor day trading on airlines today. i'm still getting my active trader setup properly setup for risk management, and i didn't want to do big positions while i get that sorted. and it's a good thing i did, b/c i didn't notice my app had kicked off my safety settings the first time, and i had to get that sorted.

but i'm happy to say that for the day, i was up a huge 52 cents. big moneyyyyyyyyyyy

i tried keeping my risk profile small. i understand it all in theory, but in practice, it's been weird trying to get that setup properly in the app

i basically want to have a risk profile of 1:2 so that i only have to win about 1/3 of the time

i setup my trades so that i also attached a runner to the overall trade to try and capture more gains than the small scalpers i planted. that did workout once. other times, they just got cancelled with no overall P/L loss

it also felt so satisfying that one of my trades won on a short position against the airlines
